Hi everybody,
Posting pictures in your discussions is a little different here than on the old site. I had some trouble at first, so I thought maybe some of you might have trouble as well.
If you want to post a picture that is a file on your computer:
1 - Click on the 'host an image' button in the tools at the top (15th from the left)
2 - In the popup window choose your file and click 'host it'
3 - You'll get another popup window with three alternatives: a) the first is a thumbnail option which, when clicked, will display the image, b) the middle option places the actual picture right in the discussion instead of a thumbnail, and c) is the url of your image and opens the image when you click on the address.
4 - Choose one of the options, copy the address, and paste in your discussion
What they do here is use an image host website here called Servimg. The first time you click on 'host an image' an account is created for you there, and your image is loaded to the site.

Hope this helps
